Ecological and fully automatic pellet boilers ATMOS
Boilers are designed in such a way that the burner is built into the left or right side of the boiler, functioning as a heat exchanger, which draws pellets from the storage tank by means of a screw conveyor. The fuel tank is located next to the boiler or in an adjacent room and can be of any arbitrary size (the standard size is 250, 500 or 1000 l). A part of the boiler room can be used for storing pellets before conveying into burner.
Burner operates fully automatic. The burner itself operates as follows. If the burner is triggered (the need to heat arises), the conveyor gets pellets into the burners spout and ignites them using a glowing coil. Following sufficient pellet combustion, the burner is adjusted to the set output where it remains until the system is heated. Thereafter, the burner is switched off and pellets in the burners chamber are burnt out. The whole cycle is repeated again when heating is required.
The boiler output and other burner functions are controlled electronically, which enables an adaptation of the boiler operation to specific system conditions. Addition of fuel, cleaning of the burner combustion chamber and removal of ash is performed once every 1 - 14 days, depending on the quality of pellets. You can add to the boiler automatic ash remover which assures even more comfortable operating.
A great advantage of our pellet boilers D15P. D20P, D30P, D40P and D50P is that you can remove the burner from the boiler and replace it with a lid, and wood can be used for heating the system. These features mean that these boilers offer the same degree of operating comfort and utility value as do boilers running on gas, propane-butane or LFOs. The main advantage is that in comparison with natural gas or LTO,these boilers combust renewable energy sources which makes their prospects look very good.

Most of you already have some experience in using wood or wooden briquettes for heating either in boilers or fireplaces. These fuels are widely available at reasonably good prices. A new product, not yet known by all, is the so-called pellets, which are produced in a similar way as wooden briquettes by high-pressure pressing of waste wood (dry sawdust and chips) without any binder. Good quality pellets are made of soft wood without bark. So called white pellets which ensure trouble free operation of the boiler.
Pellets can be produced by the same way from hard wood or wood with bark so called dark pellets but these can cake in the burning chamber and can cause problems. The same way pellets from straw or other biological wastes are made. (e.g. poppy head pellets, rape pellets, turf pellets, etc.) The most frequently used pellet size is with a diameter of 6, 8 and 9 mm and a length of 5 to 25 mm. The heating value is approximately the same as for wooden briquettes, ranging from 14 to 19 MJ/kg. The price of pellets produced by Czech producers, of which there are currently more than fifteen, is 4500,- to 6500,- CZK per ton.
Pellets are currently supplied in the Czech Republic in PVC bags (usually 15, 20 or 25 kg). Abroad, however, pellets are delivered in cistern trucks from which suppliers fill any type of tank, as in the case of LFO (light fuel oil). It is very important to store pellets in a dry place to prevent their deterioration.

Burner control: with an AC07X (AC07) electronic control unit that controls the operation of the external conveyor, two ignition spirals and the fan in accordance with requirements of the boiler and the heating system. The electronic system is rotected with the safety thermostat of the boiler, safety thermostat at the pellet supply to the burner, the fan speed transducer and the flame sensing photocell.The operation of the burner is indicated on the electronic control display.

Burners are able to burn only good quality white pellets from soft wood without bark ø 6 - 8 mm, lenght 10 - 25 mm with heating power 16 - 19 MJ.kg-1. Burners are not able to burn pellets with high caking property in the burning chamber. In such case it is needed to clean the burning chamber in period one a day.

Burners are able to burn only good quality white pellets from soft wood without bark ø 6 - 8 mm, lenght 10 - 25 mm with heating power 16 - 19 MJ.kg-1.
The adventage of this burner is automatic ignitron pellets by ignition spiral which fires up the pellet when ever is needed. The burner is not suitable to burn dark pellets which can cause clinkering. In such case it is needed to clean the burning chamber in period 1 - 3 days and you lose the comfort of such heating.
Pellet burnes for boiler - D80P
ATMOS A85 - output 24 - 80 kW
The burner is standardly supplied with pneumatic air pressure ash cleaning system which regularly after burning period cleans the burning chamber of the burner. Due to this system the burning chamber does not need to be checked so often. The customer can check it once per 14 days to 1 month.
Burner A85 contains the same features as smaller burners ATMOS A25 and A45. The boiler D80P with burner A85 must always be installed with a buffer tank of minimal volume 1000 l. In such system we use program of the burner controlling it in accordance with two temperatures (sensors) on the buffer tank.

Automatic ash removal for DxxP boilers
As an accessory for every pellet boiler DxxP, which was made after 1.3.2007 you can equip the boiler with automatic ash removal from the boiler body to an additional ash pan. This automatic Ash removing equipment does not require any special attendance and increase comfort during pellet heating.
The boiler is cleaned automasticaly by the auger conveyor with gearbox. It cleans the ash space in the boiler in regular intervals in 1 hour, in 3 hours, in 6 hours, in 12 hours or in 24 hours depending on type of used fuel. It is possible to switch the automatic cleaning manually by pressing the main switch on the boiler. Carefully choose the capacity of the ash pan based on ash content and the used fuel.
All three types of ash pan are suitable to use with each of mentioned ash cleaner/remover for boilers D31P, D14P, D21P, D25P, D15P, D20P, D30P, D40P, D50P, (D80P - two sizes).
