Země živitelka is the largest, most significant, and most visited agricultural trade fair in the Czech Republic and Slovakia, bringing together not only experts and professionals from the agrarian sector, but also the general public. The agricultural exhibition presents a complete overview of agricultural disciplines (agricultural machinery, hunting, beekeeping, fishing, the food industry, livestock breeding, research, and education), along with a comprehensive presentation of agriculture from its history to current trends. The exhibition also promotes Czech food products.

This year’s subtitle, “Innovation in Every Field,” aims to highlight that agriculture is not just about tradition, but also about the future shaped precisely by innovations—whether technological, biological, or conceptual. The goal is to show that modern agriculture is not merely about machinery and digitalization, but about a holistic approach to land, landscape, water, and people.

An engaging accompanying program runs throughout the entire exhibition for both the general public and experts in the form of lectures and conferences—specialized information is complemented by practical demonstrations and real-world experience.
