45th year of the traditional Forestry Day in Ralsk and the Czech Championship in working with a chainsaw (VLS Cup). As part of the program, there will also be a competition for operators of export sets. There will also be demonstrations of forestry and gardening techniques, forest pedagogy programs and a breeding exhibition of trophies and throws of the Mimo\u0148 division.<\/span><\/p>\n

National Chainsaw Championship<\/span><\/strong>
\nThe traditional national chainsaw championship will also be part of the two-day program. The best loggers will perform in the disciplines of felling, debranching, combined and precision cutting, and the final discipline will be debranching. Everything will take place right in front of the visitors.<\/span><\/p>\n

Forest pedagogy and other programs for children<\/span><\/strong>
\nVLS forest pedagogues will be waiting for the smallest visitors of the Forest Day with a whole series of disciplines and activities in the giant tent with the inscription “VLS for children” and at the stations in the adjacent forest. They will receive a diploma and, of course, a small gift for completing the tasks, which include “recognition” of woody plants and herbs.<\/span><\/p>\n

STIHL Timbersports show<\/span><\/strong>
\nIn the USA and Canada, the lumberjack tournament took place already in the century before last and enjoyed great popularity at the regional level. The STIHL Timbersports sports discipline has evolved from overseas competitions, which is an attractive demonstration of forestry skills from the times when the main tool of the woodcutter was an ax and a hand saw. And it is the Czech Republic that belongs to the world powers in these sports disciplines, thanks to the reigning Czech champion and participant in the 2022 World Championship, Martin Rou\u0161al, who should present himself at Skeln\u00e1 huta.<\/span><\/p>\n

Demonstration of forestry and other technology<\/span><\/strong>
\nFrom manual chainsaws to the most powerful harvesters, from garden tractors to heavy forestry equipment. You will be able to see all of this on the forestry day as part of the exhibition of forestry and garden equipment from renowned manufacturers and importers. It will include equipment for forestry professionals, but also tools and equipment designed for amateur use in your garden or property. Here you will also find a presentation of additional technology that is related to the use of wood – for example, wood chip boilers. There will also be equipment and clothing for outdoor activities or hunting.<\/span><\/p>\n

Exhibition of trophies and hunting<\/span><\/strong>
\nOn the area, visitors can also see an exhibition of trophies and shots from the hunts of the VLS Mimo\u0148 division from the hunting season – 2022\/23.
