  • the top chamber (6 mm), which is equipped in the upper section with a door with an opening for mounting the pellet burner and equipped in the bottom section with a gasification nozzle or rotating cast iron grate for easy removal of ash.
  • the bottom space, which is equipped with ceramic pipe fittings for ideal burn-up of all the combustible substances with high efficiency and environmentally-friendly combustion, which as serves as an ash collector.

Benefits of burner built into standard boiler

ATMOS A25/A45 PELLET BURNER

Fuel metering with an external screw conveyor controlled via electronic regulation of the boiler.

  • DA1500 external shaftless conveyors 1.5 m in length, DA2000 2 m in length and a DA2500 conveyor 2.5 m in length are intended for the A25 burner, all with a diameter of 75 mm.
  • DRA50 external shaftless conveyors with lengths of 1.7 m, 2.5 m, 4 m and 5 m with a diameter of 80 mm are intended for the A45 burner.

The fuel hopper top stoking door is modified for installation on an ATMOS A25 burner.

ATMOS A25

The ATMOS A25 burner is designed for burning quality white pellets made of soft bark-less wood with a diameter of 6 to 8 mm, length of 10 to 25 mm and the calorific value of 17 to 19 MJ/kg. Automatic fuel ignition by means of a glowing filament which ignites the pellets whenever heating-up is required, is an advantage of these burners. Thus, the burner and the boiler work at full power with maximum efficiency and the best combustion quality. Unlike a number of competition products that do not have any ignition device and must maintain a glowing layer in the combustion space. Thus, they are operated at low power when the temperature of combustion gases drops below 100°C. Therefore, tar and acids are generated in the combustion space which reduces the service life of the boiler, lowers efficiency, increases fuel consumption, decreases combustion quality, and further fouls the boiler which requires more frequent cleaning.

ATMOS A25 PELLET BURNER

Specified fuel: quality wood pellets (white) with a diameter of 6 to 8 mm, length from 5 to 25 mm and calorific value of 16-19 MJ.kg-1.

Burner display serves for displaying the current state of the burner and for setting its functions

Burner control: electronic regulation AC07X (AC07), which controls the running of the external conveyor, two ignition spirals and the ventilator in accordance with the requirements for the boiler and heating system. Electronics are secured by a safety thermostat of the boiler, a safety thermostat for feeding of pellets into the burner, a sensor of ventilator rotations and a photo cell for recording flames. The running of the boiler is signalised on the electronic regulation display.

Fuel ignition: automatic with the help of two electric ignition spirals.

Basic functions of the boiler:
The option of using two reserve outputs, R and R2 for various applications
Option of connecting four different sensors, TS, TV, TK and TSV
TS - bottom sensor on tank
TV - top sensor on tank
TK - boiler sensor or environment sensor on tank
TSV - sensor of combustion or solar panel

  • Burner control based on two temperatures for the buffer tank
  • boiler ventilator control from the burner with the help of reserve output
  • control of the boiler pump from the burner with the help of reserve output
  • control of the solar power system directly from the burner

External shaftless conveyors DA2000 with a length of 2 m and DA2500 with a length of 2.5 m, all with a diameter of 75 mm, are intended for the A25 burner.

The following conveyors are designed for the ATMOS A25 burner:

  • A screw conveyor for the ATMOS A25 model DA2000 with the length of 2 metres and diameter of 80 mm
  • A screw conveyor for the ATMOS A25 model DA2500 with the length of 2.5 metres and diameter of 80 mm
  • A screw conveyor for the ATMOS A25 model DA3000 with the length of 3 metres and diameter of 80 mm
  • A screw conveyor for the ATMOS A25 model DA4000 with the length of 4 metres and diameter of 80 mm

The following conveyors are designed for the ATMOS A45 burner:

  • DRA50 a screw conveyor for the with the length of 1,7 metres and diameter of 80 mm (gearbox 40 W)
  • DRA50 a screw conveyor for the with the length of 2,5 metres and diameter of 80 mm (gearbox 40 W)
  • DRA50 a screw conveyor for the with the length of 4 metres and diameter of 80 mm (gearbox 40 W)
  • DRA50 a screw conveyor for the with the length of 5 metres and diameter of 80 mm (gearbox 40 W)

Burner Standard Boiler Build-In Benefits

  • A simple and affordable solution
  • Comfort possibility of burning large pieces of wood or pellets without manual stoking
  • Easy wood, briquettes, or coal stoking with no smoke removed by an exhaust fan = a clean boiler room
  • Large (500 and 1,000 liter) pellets hopper (boiler room section) = refueling once in 7 and 14 days (once a year)
  • Comfortable and dust-free ash removal with an exhaust fan once in 14 up to 30 days
  • Automatic ignition of pellets with the ignition filament already built-in the burner
  • High efficiency (83 up to 91%) by fuel and boiler type = high saving of heating costs
  • Environmentally-friendly combustion = boiler according to ČSN EN 303-5 Class 3 = subsidized from the "Green to Savings" program of the Czech State Fund for the Environment (SFŽP) (except for C18S and AC25S due to the possibility of coal burning)
  • Overheating protection cooling loop = no risk of boiler damage
  • Automatic boiler turn-off with a combustion gas thermostat after the fuel has burnt out completely
  • Small dimensions and modern design

In case wood, wood briquettes, or coal is used as fuel for heating, the burner should always be removed from the boiler door and the burner opening should be covered with the delivered lid equipped with heat insulation.

Installation

When installing the burner into the upper door of the gasification boiler, it is necessary to use a conveyor with a minimum length of 2 meters so that the length of the hose between the conveyor and the burner is ma inimum of 15 centimeters for safety reasons. However, the optimum hose length is approximately 40 cm so that the door to the pellet burner is easy to open when cleaning the combustion chamber.

Recommended connection

We recommend a configuration with LADDOMAT 21 or a thermoregulation valve and a compensating tank with a capacity of 500 or 1,000 litres for achieving low fuel consumption and a high service life of the burner and the boiler. Use a specially designed control unit ATMOS ACD01 or the AS25 set, which is used for special functions of the burner ATMOS A25 to further reduce fuel consumption (up to 20 %) and ensure correct operation of feeding the compensation tank.

INFO - Boilers with modification for the pellet burner are from 1st of March equiped from the production with two AD03 modules, changeover switch (I/0/II), boiler temperature sensor TK (KTF 20), pump thermostat - 70 °C and with the outlet for the pump in boiler circuit.
The TK sensor placed in boiler pocket (from production), sensors TV and TS on the accumulation tank, all connected directly to the burner. The (2x AD03) modules are inserted under the instrument hood of the boiler and is connected to the terminal board of the boiler.
Both AD03 modules control the exhaust fan of the boiler and the pump in the boiler circuit.
Boilers version 2016 has only one module AD02 to control exhaust fan.
